Did anyone hear what the man under the train (soon to be amputee) yelled to Carter when he was on phone several feet away?

I was wondering the same thing. I felt horrible for both of them at the same time...2 great scenes were when Luka recalled that Carter had been a surgical resident (intern) and we see it dawn on Carter that he's going to have to finish this. (it's also nice to know that somewhere along the road these people talk and know about each other's past) Also, as Carter sighs, overwhelmed while talking to Benton as the helicopters go by, in the scene you're talking about. I would have liked to have seen Peter or Elizabeth congratulate him on his work, because they were directly involved, but at least Kerry acknowledged it...love how she always seems to have to pep *everyone* up after Romano's nasty disappreciation.
