My mother's suet pudding My mother is an extremely good cook, and likes to do recipies from foreign lands, most of which are delicious. But one Christmas she decided to prepare a suet pudding, a holiday treat from guess where, OG. Anyway, it caught fire and had to be thrown out. Looking at the charred remains, I couldn't help thinking that our family had lucked out. What the hell were you thinking of, mother? I guess it had sugar and raisins, ingredients like that, but basically it was a mass of suet. Give me a heathfood alternative, like fruitcake.
