Rain Sticks I saw this somewhere at a craft show.....take a long cardboard tube, like from wrapping paper, make a tube of tinfoil twice as long as the tube......secure a piece of plastic over one end of tube, work the tin foil into the tube coiling it as you go.....then pour about 1/2 cup of real rice (not instant) into the tube...secure the other end...paint or drcorate the outside of tube. As you flip the tube, the rice sounds like rain falling gently outside! pretty slick!
