It turned out Fran had bought a website out of a box from http://www.onlineagency.com/ . The setup provides travel agents with the basics, and leaves it up to the users to customize their own shop. Since Fran's contract was up for renewal, we ended up starting to find alternatives for something she didn't like. For me it it was the first time I was assisting somebody I had never met in person and who was living in Soutfield USA, while I was back home in S'Hertogenbosch Netherlands. I had also never build a web site before, apart from the confusing pages I created for my own idea.

What you are about to read is a the story about what came out of it. The trials and tribulations of playing around with hosting companies, internic domain registration, page content, what Fran's background in Travel is and how she finaly landed her first major reservation, only a few ago... I think it will show you a difrent side of the power and consquences of Internet than we read in the papers...
