Re: Stepping stones

Thanks Sar01! that is a fabulous idea! And we are in need of some stepping stones out back. The ones we have look like sh.....!

Here is a funny:

We bought a frame to make stepping stones at Home Despot. [lol]

It has the brick basket-weave pattern, and after you mold that you can go back and fill in the grout lines if you want. We also bought the cement coloring powder to make it the rust color. We made one. Lotta work! Ugh!

We thought it would be fun to put the dogs paw prints on a couple of the 'bricks' but of course they wouldn't stand for it! Recently we poured a cement base in the ground for the clothesline. A simple little hole in the ground with a pipe in it to hold the clothesline up. couldn't keep the dogs from walking on that! Had to put them inside till it set! got a couple good prints on it, but most were just smears, and since it will end up under the grass it really didn't matter, but they would run all over with wet cement on their paws and we had to keep wiping them off!
