Trouble this weekend...

I know it's been mentioned but I'm a bit worried that it may carry over to the ground as we are sold out apparently and I can't see it all being Toon fans. Also, apparently Man City and Sunderland are best mates through England alliances so the Makems may get involved. Is anyone else worried?

Shouldn't worry too much about it Dougal.....talking to a mate of mine who is TOB reckons they have got a pretty good handle on it, they know who's expected and they know where and how to deal with them.

There may be the odd bit of handbags but that'll be about it.

Go, drink, watch and enjoy......Programme please?

I'm probably being crap and girlie but I've just got a nasty feeling and the fact that the Makems and Cit-eh are bessie mates on the hollie front is worrying too..

I know it's difficult at SJP, but if there a load of lads intent on having a fight, as long as it doesn't involve the rest of us, let them fight to the death - The Police's role should be to keep 'em away from property & ordinary fans. I'm thinking about the arrangement last year for some naughty mags & mackems to meet for a battle in North Shields, the police broke it up before it started but would it not be better to let them get on with it? When their mates are killed or they are in court for murder, they may stop thinking it's such a lark.

Dave, I understood that a couple of Makems did get their skulls bashed in on that North Shiekds ferry thing and that some of their lot got lifted by the police while "ours" pretty much got off Scot free, hence increased enmity. Incidentally, I don't know any hoolies and I don't really know the history of great "offs" but you do hear stuff...
