Chris, I have heard a claim by an American scientist, who is also an organic farmer, that he was called to look at a situation in the UK, where the cows were being painted on their spines with organo-phosphates, a derivitive of nerve gas, for the purpose of killing a fly larva that infects the cows.He said that it was soaking in to the cows nervous system, and was the cause of CJD. He claims the madcow scare is a ruse to hide a massive screw up. He also claims that the lotion that is used to kill lice will do the same to a degree, the longer it is used or left on a childs scalp.
BTW, how did your roof turn out?

KoFE -- you lovable old tax nut, you! How the hell are you?I like your observation that BSE could be caused by lice sprays and that "he also claims that the lotion that is used to kill lice will do the same to a degree, the longer it is used or left on a childs scalp."
Given that the movie Hannibal is topping the charts, I think you've done a great service to the internet community to inform Hannibal wannabes about the potential dangers of eating children.
Glad to see you're on top of this trend.

It seems that Porter here, has a difficult time looking at all of the evidence, choosing instead to blindly except only the "official" version.A sure sign of a "successful" government attorney. Put lice remover on you kids heads, Porter; they'll thank you for it.

KoFe, Jury is out in Europe on the organophosphate theory although EC Ministers have not rejected it out of hand as an initial cause with contaminated feedstuffs acting as the agent.Last week there was a report which said that these feedstuffs were still being sold into 3rd World Countries.PS.We haven't had the roof done yet as the roofers are still plucking up courage to cross the Shannon (aka Rio Grande).
