Hello Captains,

This posting has several items for your review. Note in particular item 3, which requires a response. For those of you who replied when I asked the same question last week, I salute you. For the rest of you, please respond. I shall use my powers of email coersion:

-> ITEM 3 REQUIRES A RESPONSE <-

1. SCHEDULE: The schedule for 2/25 is up at the usual place. http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~gsa-vball/

2. BYES: If you anticipate needing a bye for the FOLLOWING week (March 4), you must let me know by 2/25 at midnight.

3. DOUBLE-MATCHES: There are now an odd number of teams in the league. This means that either some team needs to play twice in the same day, or some team needs to sit out. My preference is for the former.

The question I am asking each team is this:

If needed, is your team willing to place twice in the same day? (I guarantee that the matches will be consecutive: for example first match at 7, then second match at 8).

PLEASE SEND ME EMAIL: kosak@cs.cmu.edu containing one of the following two lines:

a) Yes, my team is willing to play twice in the same day. b) No, my team is not willing to play twice in the same day.

4. STAGE COURT AVAILABLE FOR WARMUPS: I will set up a third court near the stage for people to warm up, practice, whatever. I categorically deny all accusations that this is my passive-aggressive gambit to rid ourselves of the sometimes annoying basketball players.

5. ATTENTION COLORLESS GREEN IDEAS (C6): Note that you are scheduled to play two matches in a row this week. Make sure you carbo-load beforehand and keep yourselves hydrated! Special GSA energy bars available on request.

You can schedule my team (MooBar) for multiple games in one night. All I ask is that we get early games, if possible. Back to back 6-7 or 7-8 games are both fine.
