Just settling down to tonight's match from Prenton Park. Always nice to hear how Premiership clubs have struggeld there - well, the Mackems did, but we won our last two cup appearances there ;-)

Anyway, on the pitch is Disco Des and in the Studio is Killerkenny. Could be interesting - if only they'd do bliddy subtitles.

Bloddy great match.....

Half Time Tranmere 0 - 3 Southampton Full Time Tranmere 4 - 3 Southampton

That's what you call a cup match......

Sublime. Almost a NUFC reverse.

I loved it, just loved it! Tranmere must sign Disco Des immediately. He has to be there good luck talisman. I mean, if he hadn't been on the pitch at the start, Soton might not have socredx 3 goals in the first half and Aldo couldn't have substituted him, hence beefing up their 3 man midfield, regaining control from Soton and allowing the Trannies to go on and score 4 in the second half. Great tactical decision only to play him for the second half!

As for Killerkenny, can't say much about his half-time ramblings as I couldn't understand a word. However, at the end, he smiled and lightened up, thus making him (almost)understandable. Great man - simply misunderstood ;-)

We were tempted to switch to something else at half time. It was about as exciting as watching the grass grow. I`m pleased we didn`t - what a cracking game!(:o)
