No Glass-Duff swap deal

Graeme Souness has said that Damian Duff is not leaving Blackburn.

As he seems pretty insistent on this we are going to have to look elsewhere for a left winger. I hope Robson has this as a priority in his thinking.

Didn't Souness stand in the way of another transfer/loan Bobby was trying to get earlier this season? A player who was then sent to another team? Is it a case of us not offering enough, or Souness being difficult?

Souness has never hinted that he would be prepared to sell Duff, indeed he slapped an £8 million price tag on him last time we were connected. That would be enough to tell me he wants to keep him.

They decided on keeping Ostenstad when we inquired at Xmas but to be fair the reason they turned us down was that it was Xmas and there were a few games coming up. He has since been allowed to go to Man City, I guess if we were still interested we would have been allowed to talk to Ostenstad.

Midas soccer reckon that Sunlung have tried to do a part exchange of their own with Cash + Kilbane going to Blackburn and Duff going to Sunlung. Blackburn say they have had no official bids for the player.

Youngest player to get an Addidas Boot deal apparently!
