knackers Doug, Dabs is (i'm willing to take the flak) one of the good guys. At the start of last season he was zero.nowt.f'all. Bobby got him back to his peak, AND he scored scored some goals in a purplepatch. He never whined or moaned, just got on with it. He's not the best ever, but at least he wants to play here, not in France. We have missed him this year. He's come back quickly from an evil injury and should be given time. Great news...

I'm all for having a player back to fitness and a player as committed as Dabizas should be welcomed back to the cause.

However, in the big picture, he does worry me at times as to how acomplished a defender he is. Sure he scores the odd goal but if he comes back and we start getting clean sheets I would be more grateful. Perhaps playing alongside Hughes would help him.

Swift, I don't deny anything you're saying and last season, we really learnt how to defend set pieces. Having said that, think of any slapstick defebding last season and he was the culprit - major panicker. Nonetheless, he is one of the good guys and his absence is one of the reasons we've struggled in the air this season. That do?
