I don't believe that there is one volcano in the world that can be dubbed the 'most active'. There are many regions across the globe that have active volcanoes due to different reasons. Iceland is one ares of the world that has lots of volcanic activity. Geologically it is very unique; Iceland partially covers a hot spot which is centered on a spreading ocean ridge. In addition, its significant numbers of volcanoes are influenced by glaciers which cap many of them. Costa Rica is also a land of many volcanoes, which are the products of collision of the Central American and Pacific crustal plates. There are lots of websites on volcanoes on the web; you can find websites to specific volcanoes around the world at www.volcanoes.com.
