Falcons - anyone fancy it?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread |
Aren't our rugger buggers in the Tetley final at Twickers this Saturday? Anyone fancy going and supporting them? I know Newcastle teams and London finals don't go together too well, but with the magic boot of Johnny Wilkinson on our side...

Sorry Dan, I seem to recall there';s something else on the "to do" list on Saturday. Summat to do with going to see the donkeys...............get beaten by the Magpies.

Am I right in thinking that we routinely get to the final of this competition and never win it? ("we"- I'm such a gloryhunter).

I do Dan but am not sure how to get a ticket. I am sure there will be loads left on the day but I want to sit in the Falcons end and under cover.I got invited to the varsity match by a work colleague but we got tickets inb the only un covered bit in the stadium. We moved of course but I still don't fancy sitting with a load of Harlequin rugger buggers
Any ideas on how to get tickets?

Bake, try the RFU website for ticket details:http://www.rfu.com/
Apparently there are 55 buses coming down from the Toon and 7,000 tickets sold to Falcons supporters - my (very)old man being one of them ....

Cheers WL I have looked and there are 65,000 tickets already sold. The RFU have stopped selling them. So it looks like Bake stayed in the pub watched it on the telly.Cheers anyway
