What does the Lord require of us? Do Justice, Love mercy, walkhumbly with our God? What else? Pastor Paris

I think that just about covers it all. I love that passage of scripture. It ranks right up there with Jesus' reply to the one who asked what it the greatest commandment. "Love the Lord with all your heart, soul and mind, and the 2nd likened to it, love thy neighbor as yourself." That somes up all the commandements.

First and second greatest, yep that sums it up. If you keep those you won't violate any of the others. Mike Warnke said (and I can only paraphrase THIS statement) "People think Christianity is a bunch of don'ts. But I've found it's also a bunch of do's. And if you spend all your time doing the do's you won't have time to do the don'ts. And even if you could, you wouldn't, so you don't, so it's cool."

The Preacher in the Book of Ecclesiastes argued, I think in Chapter 11, that the full duty of many is to Fear God and keep His Commandments. As Rob notes the requirements are remarkably short and to the point. QED
