My grandson lives in Maine, and has a small Maine Coon Cat. She is pregnant and I would like to bring on of her babies to Ky., where I live. Do they, as kittens tolerate flying?????? I have a 12 yr. old Schnauzer who was used to a cat that I had,but had to have put to sleep. I think she would like the company of a new baby kitten. What do you think??? She/he would most definately be an indoors cat.

If your dog was used to cats she should be OK with a new one. Just introduce them slowly and do not leave them alone together for several weeks until you are sure they will be OK. Kittens love to play, pounce, etc. and may irritate an older dog who may then snap whereas the older cat was quieter.
