Article in today's Maine Sunday Telegram about a family named Rider who moved to a homestead in Lincoln recently and lost everything in a fire only a few days after moving in. Was this the same family that had asked about homesteading opportunities in Maine on this board recently? They said they found the house on the Internet, moved there sight-unseen.

Well, as I'm planning on moving up to that part of the world myself, it is really gratifying to know what good neighbors there are up there. Down here that wouldn't happen I'm sure of that. I've been told folks are like that up there, but now there is no question in my mind.
