According to 5 live he is annoyed by the rumours of him leaving and will remain at the Toon for another two seasons after this one.

Good news IMHO as this stabililty should allow a solid foundation to be developed.

I've always thought with Bobby, we have the chance to plan ahead.

It's a chance to bring in some ex-players with a bit of nous to form a Liverpool style boot room.

I'd like a team of Barry Vennison, Bez and Beardsley to be involved & groomed to take over. These chaps know how the Keegan train ran & could learn a lot off Bobby as well. It would be a disaster for Shearer to be the man as I believe he followed the Kenny school (as David Ginola's book backs up)
