Persons wishing acceptance to our special teams have rigorous criteria to meet prior to being finally accepted. However I am told that no amount of testing can insure if people will succeed in a team environment. In fact in most cases, without any testing, most people will rise to the required performance/standards etc. Quess I am looking for a qualification. Are acceptance standards for aspiring members worthwhile or are they simply a cya? How should these selections be finally done>? Our are by a closed door meeting of the team members who vote the new person in. My thought is that is fratericide of the worst degree. Any help would be great and yes this seems confusing.
