Dear All Can any one help.

My father has mentioned many times a poem that he really liked in his younger years but can't remember the title. It is his 50th Birthday soon and I would like to find it for him.

Unfortunately I dont have much to go on other than it involved a drum or the beating of a drum set in the great war.

I know this is not much to go on but I would be grateful if you know, have suggestions to find it etc.

Thanks

You might try looking into Rupert Brooke or Wilfred Owen as possibly the poet of this piece your father likes so well. Both wrote many poems about WWI that were popular at the time.
