and biggest cock up waiting to happen

In Japan (and presumably Korea) the tickets have gone on sale for the 2002 World Cup. It looks like the tickets will be given out through a ballot system and I'm sure people with Japanese names will do better than the likes of me. Hopefully I'll get a ticket or two but it appears that I have about a one in a 100,000 chance or something ridiculous like that. Games in group matches cost about 40, 70 and 100 quid. Semi finals cost between 110 and 350 and the final costs between 200 and 500 quid. Not exactly cheap now is it???

Kegsy - I think it will be on telly, so you should be OK if you don't get a ticket ;-))

I read that the internet sale of tickets has had to be delayed due to "technical problems".
