I just read "A Valentine" by Edgar Allen Poe, I was trying to find out the riddle of the poem, what is the meaning?

This poem was written for someone with whom Poe shared a mutual interest, poetry. He once praised her poetry in a lecture and they became friends through a local social group in Philadelphia. To read the name, take the first letter in the first line and then the second letter in the second line, the third in the third and so on until the end. Poe was fond of acrostics and maintained an interest in secret writing for years. Good luck.
