Hunt goes on for coconut-stricken monkey

Volunteers are trying to find a monkey that got its head stuck in a coconut in Thailand.

Tourists are being urged not to feed open coconuts to monkeys following the incident more than a week ago.

One tour guide said he had seen five monkeys die after getting stuck in coconut shells the same way.

The stricken animal escaped blindly into the jungle, near the resort of Bang Saen, during the first attempt to free it.

A team of vets from Bangkok's Dusit Zoo has tried unsuccessfully to locate the animal
