So far my favorite topic to discuss is the different types of volcanic eruptions. Which type is the most destructive?

I think the most destructive volcanic eruptions are fissure because lava floods large areas and pyroclastic flow because it moves most rapidly.

personely i was absolutely amazed to read that a pyroclastic flow could roll downhill at speed up to 200 km/hr. that is absolutely amazing! i am not exactly sure which TYPE is most destructive but i would have to say that a 200 km/hr lava flow would definetly leave some destruction in it's path.
