Does anybody use Adobe Premiere 5.1 video editing package?
-- Anonymous, February 13, 2001
It's no good Steph, what ever you do with the video Barton will still slice the ball to their player

i think a mate of mine does steph - what's the problem?

When you select a couple of clips to edit, it says they need 'rendering'. I know what it means but can't find how to do it!

Get a bucket of water, some sand, some pea- gravel....................................
-- Anonymous, February 13, 2001
.......................ah, that would be for the rough cut wouldn't it? What if you want a smoother finish - cut down on the pea-gravel?

Just remember where I heard this question before. Believe it or not, it relates to DeB's sand as well. I think it went Help me Render, Help, help me Render.

No sir, render

Sorry Steph I didn't intend for your thread to become a forum for poor jokes and pebbledashery!!

STEPH!thank you - now that i have your attention. I dunno, some people think this message board is a free for all....;))
Rendering is to do with colour so have you got a colour menu anywhere? It's probably something to do with the images you've got are in a weird version of RGB or something or they need transferring from raw image to RGB to suit the monitor you're using.
It may also be because you're using text - in which case you have to 'render' the layer...have you got a text or layer or type menu?
hope this helps...the good/bad news is, i'm away for the next ten days so...GOOD LUCK! Just pop into Waterstones and cadge a look at the 'Adobe Premiere Bible' - with all the other computer design books....
