New players and changes

Suggestions are a plenty regarding new players and changes to the current team.

We will probably have at least one new central defender and one forward, we need a left midfielder and changes in midfield perhaps.

These will be massive changes in a team of eleven and will constitute wholesale change and not just transition. Any players coming in will need to settle very very quickly so are we going to be forced to pay bigger fees for British players? Or bigger wages if the transfer fees are abolished?

Wholesale changes may not be needed if Robson makes wholesale changes within the squad. We have Harper/Given, plus three decent defenders in Hughes Griffin and Caldwell. Quinn might be OK so we'll stick with him for now. In Midfield, Dyer, Solano and Acuna are all worthy of a place. And upfront Shearer and Ameobi are good enough. The only player I think we need at this moment ion time is a left winger.

Our wingers would need to be the hard working grafter types if Dyer is in the middle. Solano is not that, especially away from home. I'm starting to think it has to be Dyer or Solano.
