Disillusioned ? Me ?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

Too ufcking true a'm disillusioned. I've never been so disgusted with a mag showing.I don't care if neebody comments on this. Got to get it off me chest, and me pc was down all day yesterday, so even though it's probably all been said already, here goes

Sunday was probably the most spineless showing I've ever seen by a set of black and white shirts. In fact the proverbial washing line would have shown more guts.

I couldn't even sort out who was our worst, never mind best, player. I thought I was seeng things when Arsellino turned sideways on to the first goal. He should have let it take his poxy heed off rather than go in the goal.

And am I the only one who's not remotely convinced by Speed assuring us they'll work their balls off- atrophied as they are - in Spain ? They shouldn't even be there. The whole cake and arse party should have been cancelled and the cost written off. I don't give a shit how hard they work in training. They might as well not bother if the end result is the sort of torture they put us through on Sunday.

Disillusioned is the polite way to describe it and I'm not even going to get it up to the new answers - it's therapy, pure and simple.

What a ufcking shower!

I don't feel much better for that, useless pile of garbage that they are.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH.

Now that is better.

And just to cheer you up this is the reported regime in the Journal today. "We're going to train and rest on alternate days while we're out here but this isn't a holiday. "When I say rest that means the players will be allowed to do some exercise such as playing golf, tennis or going swimming but that will be it. This is a training camp and not a chance to wind down.

I mentioned elsewhere that Man City on the 24th coincides with my son's 5th birthday and I shall be taking him to see a ist team game for the 1st time. My intention was to try an see if there was availability in the Mcdonalds family enclosure, tickets went on general sale on the Monday at 9am. I thought after Sundays performance I'd just need to pick up phone and the tickets would be assured. Constantly engaged for two and a half hours, so I to the ground and queued (yes there was a queue) for 15 min at the solitary open window, only to be told there was nothing for the family enclosure left.

Now here's the rub, I had convinced two other friends that it would be a good day out if they took their kids (one coming up for the weekend from Bristol). Tickets were limited to two per applicant so even if the tickets I wanted were available I wouldn't be able to secure them - all the time I am thinking of the 250 seats to my right in the platinum club which will be empty.

Not so much disillusioned but frustrated; if the club manned the phones, I would not have wasted an entire morning and the fact that the club is effectively turning away support because it is inflexible with seating arrangements.

Disappointed of Bill Quay

Considerate to a fault Mr Clark, and no, not overly.

I hadn't realised I'd toned it down to the extent you had to ask the question. :-))

Tony , you should have a word with MacBeth, he's contemplating becoming a Celtic fan and has two seats n the family enclosure.
