I'd love to see some underwater photography in this forum, so here's a modest contribution.

This giant manta ray was enjoying the services of cleaner fish at a 'cleaning station'. It was shot last summer in the Maldives, near Chicken Island in the North Male Atol.

Nikonos V in 'true manual' mode (no battery, thus no light meter), Ikelite speedlite, Fuji Reala. Exposure data unrecorded, but I'd guess about 1/60 at f/8. Water depth: ~22m.
