We are still not being linked with a move for a left sided midfielder. I appreciate that the club may have done a good job of keeping things quiet but we could at least be linked with a move, because until we get some balance and shape to the side we're going to struggle.

After all there will be plenty of room in the midfield once the non-performers get chucked out.

Just a couple of points, Glass wasn't on the bench on Sunday, was he injured or does BR just not like him?

The other point is that finally the transfer system announcement is to be made on friday. If fees are to be abolished we could get some tremendous players for nothing at the end of the season.

Why does anyone think that Carrick will want to join us in the summer? He has been with West Ham for years now and Redknapp has given him the chance he would never have got at Newcastle. If the lads got an ounce of loyalty and values he'll stay with West Ham.
