Passports enquiry.

A plus point from the La Manga trip is that if any of our players have false passport then they won't get back into the country!!

They are to be scrutinised on their return!

DeBuilder, I`ve missed out on this passport thing - I didn`t have much spare time last week, or over the weekend to catch up on the BBS. Which are our players have doubtful passports? (:o)

Enquiries are being made of all players in Britain who have dual nationality passports.

Nobby Solano - Peruvian with a Greek passport. Daniel Cordone - Argentinian with an Italian passport Cristian Bassedas - Argentinian with an Italian passport Diego Gavilan - Paraguayan with a Spanish passport

I can't see how Nobby's can be dodgy due to the number of times he has been through customs in the past couple of years. One thing is certain the time they spend in customs on their return from La Manga will be more than the ninety minutes of torture that they served up yesterday.

You know, the funny thing is, looking at that list of players, the only one that I know for sure we would miss is Nobby. The rest, I don`t seem to have any real idea of how good they are, or if they have any true potential within the team. There just doesn`t seem to have been that sort of emotional link that make me think of them as `our` players. Odd, isn`t it?(:o)

Cordone is Ketsbaia with long hair

Bassedas is someone we're all giving time to as he seems to be useless but we want to give him the benefit of the doubt

Gavilan has a nice smile

Solano can be wonderful, and sometimes he can be rubbish, he has a nice smile too

If I had to pick one of them as the most likely to have a dodgy passport, it would be the one with the ears that stick out the most. As my wife always says my ears stick out when I lie.

They also stick out when you're telling the truth, really.
