The also-reliable Sunday Sun suggests YKD could be sold in the close season because, under the anticipated new transfer system, his resale value would be zero when his current contract expires in three years time.

They say the two Michaels - Bridges (£8 million) and Carrick (£12 million) - would the targeted replacements, presumably under 10 year contracts to avoid the same problem occurring with these two also a couple of years dwon the road!

There is probably an real issue here with Dyer, and it may well be that if he isn't prepared to sign, say a two year extension to his current deal, that The Toon feel forced to cash in on him.

Did the papers ask Unsworth's wife about this proposed move? ;-)

Why sign Unsworth when we have Warren Barton to aimlessly hump the ball up the pitch?

It was Parker who got booked. And Min, soon you'll be telling us that Southampton are better than we are.....

A Ploy to hit our season tickets sales. Come on DAVID UNSWORTH (RIGHT I'M SO EXCITED, I REFUSE TO PISS ON THE BOG, OR REMOVE MY TROUSERS), AND SELLING KIERON DYER, Great!

Have the Man Utd journos been influenced by the show the weakest link? MMMM, I smell a ploy to hit their nearest natural competitors.
