Toshiba 2109 and VCD's

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I cannot get my Toshiba SD-2109 to recognize my own recorded vcd's. If anyone has the steps to get this to work please help me out. I have used the Memorex Platinum CD-RW's just like everyone has told me, and they work fine when recorded with music but I get a disc error when it is recorded with Nero 5.x in VCD format. I know that it works, but I don't know how.

The following Toshiba's are cak:

2006,2107u,2108u,2109,3006,3107,3109,4109x,5109,6109,9000,9100

Have faith in any other Toshiba models though - their picture performance is superb.

I have managed to play a TDK CD-RW700 421xMultiSpeed with VCD created by Ulead; but can't seem to create the same on my old Traxdata CD-RWs

Verbatim CD-RW74 and TDK CD-RW74 work fine!
