I went to bed at like 6 a.m. I haven't stayed out like that since forevah. I'm dying.

Happy Sunday!

I'm here for a sec.

Free tip: A bacon and egg sandwich at the Tastee Diner at 3:15 a.m. on a Saturday night? Not necessarily a good idea. But mmmmm....

Y'all, I know the new topic is already up, but it's still Sunday where I am, so...

I had the BEST weekend. The Chao House Party was fizzity fun. I LOVED it. Vince Chao is the BOMB. So is his brother, Joey (-hooknose- "I know you di'in'"). Y'all know AB, of course, rules the planet and Mad Mad, as usual, was the cutest thing ever. Great night. We write song. It make us a mirrion dollah and we use cash money for MATHazine.

Today, I dragged ass out of bed at 11, went to Guitar Center, bought a mic and a chord and had a rehearsal with The Blues Band That Will Never Play A Freaking Show. The guys FINALLY cut loose our stupid drummer who has been in a continuous nervous breakdown since I've known him, making it impossible for us to ever move forward (especially when he, uh, SOLD his drums).

So, today they had a drummer and a rhythm guitar player come out to sort of audition with us and they both rocked. We all loved each other and played for FOUR hours. I was nearly deaf and dumb by the end, but it was so much fun. As I told AB, my evening with Master V really loosened me up, or something, because I cut LOOSE this afternoon. I hope these new guys decide to stick. Maybe we'll hit the stage a time or two before the year 2005.

On my way home from that rehearsal, I called my friend Dan (the one who had a film at Sundance - I told y'all about him, right?) and we went to dinner and hung out for the first time in months. Great fun. Showed him HYD - he pronounced me brilliant.

Came home, called the MOC, had a very nice conversation with him for a little while, hung up the phone, flipped on the TV. The Matrix is on. People. Y'all know I love this stupid movie. I won't watch the whole thing, because I figure getting a good night's sleep will be a nice close to this nice weekend, but...Carrie-Anne Moss... I love this movie.

My only regret is that I missed Iron Chef, both nights. Tragedy. So, H? You stayed up all night - why? Anything good? And M, greasy breakfast at 3 am? Excellent.

What else went on in your worlds?
