That's hardly the point, is it? Any Geordie lad showing any promise should be on NUFC's books as soon as possible. As per a certain promise made about 8 years ago. Maybe it's because we can't possibly sanction a youth policy until we know what's happening to transfers. JSAHDUIGEW"""!!*&@@@~~p@@!

Old news Carrick number two heads for Harry's Hammers.

Michael Carricks younger brother Graham has decided to follow his brother to London and will sign up to play for West Ham in July. Despite clubs closer to home showing and interest in him he has opted to head south. The 15 year old Wallsend born player has been persuaded to leave the North East by Harry Redknapp , who sees him as a very exciting prospect for the future. Graham a pupil of Burnside high school in Wallsend has said that he liked the set up in London. "I felt very comfortable around the place, it has a great atmosphere. They talk to you as though you are a person, there are no special players there who get special treatment" His mother Lynne will be sorry to see him go but realises that it's a great opportunity for him "He has been given a great chance and has to go for it, but I am sad and I've shed a few tears"

I only hope FS isn't awaiting the EU ruling on the transfer system before he takes his next dump!
If not, then that's the only pending decision at SJP that isn't presently 'on hold'.
