Aaron in this week's Shoot

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

He is rapidly turning into their darling... Anyway, it's a general triva q+a with a pic of Aaron bawling at someone. He says he's never had a row with any of his bosses; most recently bought the Santana CD; most recently swopped shirts with Neil Lennonj (Oh, Aaaaaroooooon!); has only ever accidentally nutmegged a team-mate; missed a sitter in training but generally puts balls into row 19 anyway being a centre-half; got asked for his autograph in town and this bloke's lass turned up and started taking pics in the middle of a really busy street; when walking into SJP on the day of the interview, a fan shouted "Hello" -"That's the thing about Newcastle- everyone knows everyone else so you will always get someone who will say hello"; last had a lads night out at Christmas with the squad where they had the usual present exchange but he wouldn't reveal anything about this....

Put your claws away dear....you can't have him all to yourself, you have to share him sometimes!

Do you want me to let you have a copy of that letter for Daily Toon?

Interesting, ITK, I never quite pictured Aaron as your type. ;-)

ITK, I think Ciara is roundly (very, for humour's sake!)saying you couldn't pull Aaron!!!

Dougal.....yes please

Ciara.....just ye watch it kid

DeB.......is that an Aaron jumper I couldn't pull, or just a straight forward Ron.....alway prefer The Ronnettes anyway - that give the age away!

Quick poll: who here says "Arron" and who says "Airon"? I used to know a lad with the joyful name Aaron Crowl who was an Arron so I always say the former. It's important for the day that the Gowling song gets adapted for him.....

Dougal: I've always said it the Arron way.

ITK: You're right the age is showing there, I haven't a clue who or what the Ronnettes are?

I've also heard it pronounced "Are-on". Anyone wanna ask the lad himself?

DeB...who or what are the Ronnettes...aaiiiieee. Ok, I'm not that old either. I was just a geeky kid listening almost exclusively to 60's music while my cooler friends were getting into punk and new wave.

I did, of course, get into punk and new wave....around the time grunge and hip hop started getting popular. Always a step behind the times, me. ;-)))
