3rd Anniversary!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MAME Action Replay : One Thread

I can't believe nobody remembered (myself included)... last Friday, February 2nd marked the third year anniversary of the MAME Action Replay Page! The site's grown so much, the sheer number of recordings on the site is more than I would have imagined this site getting... I just can't believe I've been sending in recordings for three years. Where does the time go? :P

Here's to many more,

Well what can you say? MARP has gone three years and still livin' it up! Now I'm only guilty for about 1 3/4 years of it, but I'm proud to be a part of all the fun that it holds. We'll soon be earning our 10 billionth raw point of INPs soon... that will be an accomplishment that no other high score site has ever accomplished to my knowledge. Soon we'll hit 250,000 hits according to NedStat, and after a while we'll reach 20,000 recordings, especially with the upcoming 2nd MAME Championships.

Speaking of such... it's also great to say that we'll be hosting our biggest tournament in the history of the page in only nine days. Yeah, MC2 already has 43 players signed up which is already the most in MARP history.

Well I'd love to say... here's to three more years... but next year we'll say... here's to four more years, then here's to five more years... :) Catch ya around :) GB9

Wow.. 3 years eh. I can remember doing that 1 year anniversary post, it seemed as if MARP had been around for ages even back then. Things have changed a lot since then, and I unfortunately can't find the time to submit as many recordings as I used to.. but rest assured I'll be in the various tourneys and knockouts.

Here's to many more years of MARP.. Viva La Marp!

I've been away for a while, but always keeping in touch with you all through this board.....

MARP is one of the bust sites in the Net, and I'm proud of being part of....

Forza MARP !!!!

Wow, has it been that long? I still remember finding MARP some 18 months ago or so and seeing T1 in progress and thinking to myself, 'Hot shit! I gotta get me some of this!' And thus the surprise attack was launched. :) The place has had its ups and downs since then, but MARP has always been a home for me and I hope it continues to be such for a long time to come. Viva MARP!
