Who was E A Poe influenced by to write the way he did? Also are there any famous writters that have been influenced by Poe?

Poe was influenced a lot by Lord Byron. Many writers are now influenced by him.But,perhaps u no that he was very scientific,I mean he writed science stories n detective ones.His french hero Dupin,was the model for most of the detectives afterwards,as,for instance,Sherlock Holmes,etc.So,we can say Agatha Christie was also influenced.Alas,Poe's is konown mainly by Marie Bonaparte's critics.Even though they were stupid,well,some writers still loathe him.Jealous ppl say dumb things...
