Anyone interested in some O' practice at Fort Leavenworth on Saturday (February 10) afternoon?

Mary and I are planning to get out in the woods at Fort Leavenworth for some O' practice this weekend. We will probably just design a course and run it (no flags or other markers). It won't be an organized event. We'll use an OCAD copy of the 20+ year old map.

Just finished chatting with Mary. Looks like my schedule is not conducive to the same time. Also, because of apparent damage to my left calf, rest is advised. Maybe I'll come out and walk a bit early that morning. Maybe I'll just do a mental map walk... I'll see how the calf is tomorrow.

It was a good idea. But, the weather didn't cooperate. The freezing rain/sleet/snow that came through yesterday left 2-3 inches of snow on top of ice at Fort Leavenworth. After talking with Herb and Mary, I decided it was best to call off the practice.

Of course, OKers around the globe can (and should) still get in some training on their own! The relay champs are just ten months away.
