The United chairman said: "This is the second time they have come across from New York and they still have not seen us in action at St James's Park.

"They are coming back in April for the Arsenal game and we are hoping to make this a more memorable trip, with lunch, a tour of the stadium and hopefully a chance to meet the players."

Great to see those unlucky 4 will get a nice reward for their efforts. :-)

Also in the same piece, there is speculation the Soton match could be moved to Feb 21 as Soton are to play Boro on the Saturday. Bet that would suit Big Al as he could be back a few days sooner. ;-))

We could have met them, there were so many. Definitely not Mark(he's from DC), though he did go for the match and will be at Charlton on Sunday. I was also wondering if any of that group was a guy that flew in from NYC for the Villa replay. Never met that one, but the steward on the bus was telling me about him. Flies in quite often for matches.

There's more from that trip, I just have to find time to scan them and get them up. If only I had a scanner at work, a monitor that wasn't 20yrs old, and the dang boss's boss would quit spending the entire day here (meaning I have to look for things to do to look busy, when there's abso-berloody-lutely nothing to do). bleh.
