Malcolm -- PST is GMT -8. But, I expect that you already know that.

I thought it was either -7 or -8, but I wasn't sure. I know that most people in USA can tell the difference bewteen their own time zone and almost anywhere else in USA without even thinking about it, but for other parts of the world its not so automatic. I could have looked it up in my atlas, or searched the net for time differences, but I do believe it is much nicer if times of events on the net were stated with respect to GMT.
