Did you have a favorite food as a kid? Do you still like it now? Is it still around or has it been discontinued?

Onions and cherry pie - - - - but not on the same plate. Both are still in existence, but my taste runs to peach pie a la mode. Onions are forever and go with almost anything except black walnut ice cream.

Cocoa Pebbles cereal (still buy it now at age 31)
Fruity Pebbles (ditto above)
Peanut Butter Captain Crunch
Nut Goodie (hard to find but still availabe, in same packaging!)
I no longer eat meat, been vegetarian for 12 years but I absolutely adored those little wrapped cans of deviled ham paste
Hormel canned tamales (eeeew, would NOT eat today even if I wasn't vegetarian)
Nutter Butter cookies (yum!)
and others I am forgetting I am sure.

Coffee Crisps, from Canada, and whoopie pies, neither of which are easily obtainable here in PA. I have a stash of the former that was sent to me by a friend on a book list. I've saved them for treats after especially onerus tasks.

I am looking for Smokehouse beef jerky. They used to sell it in supermarkets, but I haven't seen them in several years. They were sold in red plastic bags and in red canisters. The jerky was flat and rectangular strip shaped. Please help me find my favorite childhood snack!!!
