Hello, y'all. Weekend was good. Victoria Williams is on a little of that Medicinal Marijuana, if you know what I mean, and I think you do.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Morning, angels!

An Bei sooo tired. JoAnn, Arrison, George, and web page wear her out!

T, I think Victoria is always on the sauce, whatever kind. She's cool.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

No, she was really, extra on the sauce. But damn, that band is good.

Okay, y'all. Jazz Fest updates are on that thread... Get thee to it!

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

I can't see the stupid schedule. I neeeeed to know when Paul Simon is playing.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Hola,

Y'all I won't be here much today.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

As a mattah of fact, I'm leaving in a few minutes, and will be out of the office until Wed. I know y'all are upset.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Where are you going?? Is this sudden? Is it for work? Are things okay in the Magic City?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

WHat? No!

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Why you make us cry, Arrison? Is JoAnn demanding your services? I know she hates you and your daddy.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Ok, we have these huge things every quater called a System Communications Meeting. I call them The Quarterly Ordeals. Anyway, this meeting, which we are in charge of in my dept, is broadcast to all of the hospitals in our system via videoconference. It's a big, mega pain in the ass, and the undertaking is so large, our whole department has to help.

This one is being broadcast from a hospital in Bedford, TX and I have to go out there today to set-up and tomorrow for the meeting. It's stuuuuuupid.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

And you know I don't know how to get there.

Stupid Texas.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Arrison! You not spend night there! You go home and get on iBook.

Y'all, I guess Meg had a Beanie Baby or Boyd's Bears collectors meeting and she was turned off because some of them didn't go to college and like Wal-Mart.

You collect Beanie Babies!!!

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Maybe Bedford is close to San Antonio, and you'll get to see MOC.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

I'm shocked any college graduates collect beanie babies.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

You have to read her entry. That girl is seriously messed up.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Naw, Bedford is close to Fort Worth (which I clearly have no idea how to navigate).

Mayn, Mike's here and everything? Sigh. I'm gonna miss my jags.

Hey, if y'all send any big e-mails, including the Survivor E-mail Ring of Geniuses, send them to my yahoo acct instead of texashealth. My work inbox overfloweth.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Oh, and re: the portal. I like Sock Puppet Companions. And it's available. The question is: should we make it just MATH or should we ask pam if she wants to be on it?

I'm willing to manage it. It shouldn't be too hard. But I don't think you want me to design it, as I suck.

And as much as we're 100000x cooler than DHAK I like how it's set up.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Bedford sounds gross. I think I passed through there once.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Y'all know why I think Meg's full of shit? She says that there are "dozens of collectors." No way, I say. Maybe across the country. But in some Ohio suburb that's really not even a suburb as it's more than an hour from Cleveland? Whatevuh.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

She said some came from out of state. But still.

I just hate her. Oh, a black tie event with her dad and some CEO. Y'all. Pam is CEO of pamie.com. These days, that don't mean shit.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

"One thing that was a bit odd was the fact that I only had four or five people to talk to out of the entire group. Someone made a comment that it was due to the fact that not all of them had anything in common with me. It is quite true, actually. I can't sit there and listen to them talk about the sale items at Wal-Mart (which was an actual conversation topic), how their husbands are doing on their dart teams, and how their dirty pick-up trucks leak oil in their garages. I'm serious here, people. I can't make this stuff up. None of them were interested in listening to how I was having a business dinner later on with a client, or how I had to go to Nordstrom's to buy a new evening gown for when I'm going out in a month with my father and the CEO of his company for a black tie dinner party. I couldn't sit there and tell them how my business has taken off or how I'm choosing which college I want to go to full-time, because none of them have ever had to make those decisions for themselves (because they chose to raise families instead) or because their kids are not in college (because they are not old enough). It was nothing more than having a large group of people together who had different paths in life, but with some of us that gap was a lot larger than it was with some others. It created a bit of tension that I hope will go away after a while because I seriously want this to work out and be fun."

She infuriates me. For heaven's sake, she's hanging out with people who buy garbage that they sell at Cracker Barrels. She buys the same crap. Where is the difference? She is a snob, and she is clueless, and I hate her I hate her. Ugh.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Ok, I'm oot and I hate it.

A few things:

1) Meg = Frizeak of Nature

2) I say SPC should stay MATH at first. Pamie's in DHAK so, I don't know if she would, or could, do both.

3) I'll miss you bitches and hos. Y'all say some *prayers* for me. Write me some letters. Hee. I'll check in this p.m.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

First of all, I'm all about the portal. But, as is painfully obvious from my own site, I can't design for shit.

A press release, being prepared now:

ARLINGTON, Va. - Mike Berman was named CEO of triumph_and_disaster, a journal hosted by geocities, on Monday.

Berman, the owner and sole user of the web site, announced his promotion at a sparsely-attended press conference.

"I'm honored and overwhelmed," Berman said. "No more shopping at Wal- Mart for me. And now, dinner's all about the Olive Garden -- no more Boston Market runs here."

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Okay. SPC=math.

sockpuppetcompanions.com

Woooohooo!

I might go post on Meg's forum. She is a snob. A clueless trashy snob.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Aw, Mike. You CEO and go to Olive Garden? Mayn. I can't compete. I'm going to take my site down.

What do y'all use for site statistics, or does geocities have that function? I can't find anything that doesn't have those dumb banners.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

geoshitties has something. A lot of people use sitemeter or nedstat. You should ask pam as there isn't even a button on hers. There's a thread in journalling on it.

AB - who do you use for webhosting? How much is it? Man. register.com isn't working again, so I can't buy spc.com! I do tonight. And I buy hannahbeth.com or hannah-jo.com. What else would be good for me and JoaG?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

I use doteasy.com. It seems fine so far. It's free for a year, but there's a $25 registration fee. Lots of stuff is included. I think there's a thread on that too, maybe in Technology?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Oh, yeah, y'all. I need a domain name for my site. Any ideas?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Um, bermanater.com? Did we already talk about this?

Pamie uses extreme tracker. I'm looking into it.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Yeah, I know. I'm just so crushed that Bermanator (and thebermanator) are already taken.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Right now I just use sitemeter. It seems to be okay. Wooo! 130 hits strong!!

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

"Sparsely-attended." I love it.

Tell about the date, Mike. Please.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

It went really well. She's a lot of fun. I'm not sure if the romantic vibes were there -- this might be one of those episodes of A Dating Story where both people say "Yeah, it was great, I'd definitely go out with her/him again", and yet they never do have a second date. But then again, we might.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

But she's not your hygienist, correct? I think that was a rumor.

Look at all these rumors, a-runnin' me every day...

Y'all remember that song? I loved it.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Anna Beth, breakin' out the Timex Social Club's one hit. If you ever see that at a karaoke club, let me know and I'll fly down and sing it.

No, not the hygenist. It's a friend of a co-worker.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Was it a blind date?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Let me count the ways I love Billy Tauzin.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

It wasn't quite a blind date -- I met her at a party last month, and this co-worker tried to set us up. We've been e-mailing since then (she lives in Richmond), and I said, "Yeah, let me know the next time you're in town and we can hang out."

And she came back with "I'll be visiting my parents in Rockville this weekend."

So there you go. How could anyone resist such an opportunity?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Bermanater such a player. So, did you take her to the Olive Garden or what?

When we say details, Berman, we mean details.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

So, what did she think of your clean apartment?

Oh - I think Chris will be emailing you soon. His league starts up next month and he's all out of whack about some salary cap. He thinks that it will screw with his draft. Or something.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Heeeeyyy. Your chat is this Wednesday, isn't it.

Mike, you'll have to promise us that no girl could ever take you away from MATH.

Okay. I have got to do some work now. Even though I pretty much decided that I'm going to get the hell out of dodge as soon as I can. Time to start spreading the word that I'm looking to get out of here, fast.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Well, what sort of details did you want?

We actually met late, because I worked until seven on Saturday and she had a dinner party with her parents. So we met at nine at my apartment, went to Xando for coffee and s'mores, and then to a karaoke place in Alexandria (ed. note: this last part was not my idea). Then we walked around Old Town for awhile, and that was it.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Oh, and no girl could ever take me away from MATH.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Sounds fun. I know you sang your greatest hits. I hate I missed that.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

I did no singing.

See, the problem was, this place is really popular, and we didn't get there until around 12:15, so the song sheet was already filled up. I'd have done it, though. I have no more fear of karaoke.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

What would you have sang?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Um... I dunno. Probably "My Sharona" or "Tainted Love" again. I'll have to work out some new arrangements for the next MATH karaoke experience -- can't be a one-trick pony here.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

And from the JazzFest topic, I love how the Widespread fans asked "does anyone really own a spatula?" That's the great philisophical question of our era.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Dude, My dad was like, "Offa my land, hippie!"

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Dude, you are not a one-trick pony. Let's not forget Eat It.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

A three-trick pony, then. And, really, Eat It may have been a one- time only special.

Aren't we just serving as the custodian of the spatulas, saving them for future generations? And let's not even get into the whole concept of cheese graters.

Actually, a friend and co-worker is a big Widespread fan, and travels to see them quite a bit. He might have been that guy.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

I'm such a dumb girl sometimes. I asked a dumb question in the domain thread.

Mike - you should register bermanatar. or bermanation.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Oooh - I really like Bermanation. You should register that one, definitely.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Maybe I'll register both. For some reason, I'm all enthused about registering names.

I think that's the use for my winnings in the Super Bowl pool -- domain names. The only thing I'm worried about is friends and family finding the journal. So I'm sort of thinking of having bermanation or bermanater/ar as my home page, and something else as the journal host.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Johanna, do you still know anyone in the Ohio Congressional office where you worked? Or for LaTourette, Tiberi, Oxley, Ney, or Gilmore?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Herro?

Okay, I'm going to eat lunch. Joh, Tiberi was just elected, right?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Finally reading Meg's entry. I love the first sentence:
I never do well in social situations which involve a large amount of people

Oh, that's just too easy. It's also the big reason why I have no plans to home-school my kids.

I see she still has lots of love for waitresses...

"If Mexico is dirty walls, dim lighting, cold room temperatures and idiotic wait staff, I don't want to go there." Well, Mexico's certainly no Aurora, Ohio, but I'd be very happy if she never left the country because she'd be one of those Ugly Americans who wants to know why they don't fry the eggs in Paris like they do at the Denny's in Cleveland.

"Deciding what college she wants to go to full-time." Somehow, that reminds me of when a football coach is fired, and he starts talking about all the "wonderful opportunities" he's sorting through. Nine times out of ten, he winds up selling used cars. By a similar token, five'll get you ten that Meg will never leave the state of Ohio in her college-searching experience, and it's even money that community college is the only school in her near future.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

T - yes, Tiberi is a freshman. I know of his staff, but I don't really know anyone. And Ney is who I interned for, and his whole staff has changed. Sorry.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

I loooooove bermanation! That's perfect.

I'm scared of people I don't want to find me finding me, too. Smart move, registering ANNA CHAO, huh?

Do y'all's moms read your journals?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

No, and thank God for that. I would die.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

No, my mom does NOT. Like I said, she thinks the whole web is porn, and would be none too happy with my photo heavy page.

Clueless Male gave a really good response.

AB - do you write your code by hand or use dreamweaver? Does your annachao.com email address get sent somewhere else, or do you go to doteasy.com to get your mail? That confuses me.

your-site.com does look pretty good. And it's cheap.

Al - are we going to use your friend Sonya's web hosting for SPC.com?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

"AB - do you write your code by hand or use dreamweaver? Does your annachao.com email address get sent somewhere else, or do you go to doteasy.com to get your mail?"

No, I used that layers thing in Dreamweaver that Al taught me how to use over the phone. Sweet thing.

My e-mail comes to Outlook Express--you just type your server name in (which is mail.yoursite.com) and your SMTP server name (your ISP's server), and that's it. It was really easy. They send you all the directions on how to do everything.

I'm terrified of my mother reading my journal. She rarely gets online, though. My dad is a big fat fatty net freak. He uses an online bookie. I love my gamblin' daddy.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

bermanation.com is availible.

I just can't decide. I'm thinking even the idiots on the forum will be able to figure out who I am and what I do in real life if I go with that, so I'd have to try and avoid flame wars. But maybe that's just me being paranoid. I don't talk about work that often.

Friends and family would definitely find it, though, but I figure my college friends will do that anyway now that the bio's up.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

"My e-mail comes to Outlook Express--you just type your server name in (which is mail.yoursite.com) and your SMTP server name (your ISP's server), and that's it. It was really easy. They send you all the directions on how to do everything. "

That all sounds really complicated.

Can you download dreamweaver?

I think I'm going to register w/ register.com and then host on your-site.com or just register w/ them too. But it would be cool to have hannah@hannahbeth.com as my email. I'm just not totally up on hannahbeth.com. But taht would let me change my journal name if I wanted to.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Why would you want to change your journal name?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

It's not complicated at all. Seriously. I herp you! You carr Chao House and I herp!

I love hannahbeth.com.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Mike, you must reguster Bermanation, just to have it.

That would be a good name for your column, too, if the paper would let you name it something other than what it's called (does it have an official name?).

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Yeah, I'll probably register both bermanation and bermanater.com. Maybe. I'm po', but I'm proud.

I think I call call my column whatever I want, but it's technical name is "Beyond the Arc", because it sounds cool and when I play basketball, that's where I tend to stay.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

But see, Mike, when I say, "Bermanation!" real loud, I can just hear the Jock Jams blaring in the background. And if Jock Jams ain't sports, then I don't know what.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Do your columns belong to you or the paper? What I mean is, could you use Bermanation to put up an archive of your favorite columns or some such?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Oh, they would so kick my ass if I did that. They're very anti- freelancing in general, and they would be unamused about me putting the columns up on a vanity project. That's one of my unfavorite things here.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

I do tonight. I buy hannahbeth.com and get space. I move journey of a girl there. That big project. Maybe I just start new? No. I no know.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

I'll probably hang around and get my buying and moving process started afetr work, but I have no earthy idea how to move the files from geocities to anywhere else. So who knows?

Seriously, y'all, I need advice. Is putting my journal on bermanation or bermanater.com a good idea?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Why wouldn't it be? It's not like your family is all searching for you or something. And if they find it, they find it. The only reason I wouldn't want my dad to find my journal is bc I think some of the stuff I've said would hurt him.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Han, go ahead and buy it now so it'll be up and ready for you to deal with tonight.

Mike, you can do it with an FTP program. Dreamweaver and FrontPage have them already built in, but on my PC, I use CuteFTP.com. It's pretty easy, and it's free.

I feel like expert! But really, I just clazy page builder who not know nothing!

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Hannah -- you have some cranky people awaiting the Magic 8-Ball's feedback.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

I think you should, too. Why buy it if you're not going to use it to display your extraordinary talents?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

But I can't display my extraordinary talents there anyway, because I don't know how to do the audio. So no karaoke highlights.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

HA! I'm back. That didn't take nearly as long as we thought it would.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Arrison! You foor us! You back arready, crazy Arrison.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Yipee!!

I'm just going to do it tonight, bc I don't want to do it at work.

Can you use dreamweaver on a PC? and do you buy it or download it?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Good lord, y'all got all Internet Clazy while I was out.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

I just registered bermanation.com -- but it'll have to wait until tomorrowm I think, because it looks like they call you to confirm and I left my home number.

I'm off tomorrow, but I'm coming in to work out and write my column all relaxed-like so that'll give me something else to do. Now, though, I really need a home computer.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Yay Arrison! We miss you!

Han, you can use it on either PC or Mac, and you can download it or buy it. The download at cnet.com is free, but it's a 30-day trial version, and you pay after that if you still want to use it. I'm still trying to figure out the crack, and when I do, we can have bad illegal copies. Leon has corrupted me with all his hack/crack websites--I Internet Stealah!

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

http://www.usatoday.com/life/lear.htm

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

We also have a headline up now on our Life front: "Math gets a bad rap". I had nothing to do with it.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Mike, mayn, it's your job to squelch that stuff!

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

All right, I think my next post on the pamie forum (1001) makes me a Rockstar. What topic should I use it on?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Padding!

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Han, you beat me!

I be back, MATHletes. I go pick up Mad Madeleine, who performed her famous number this weekend for Al and her mom.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

How did the Me box turn out?

I am going crazy at amazon.com, y'all. Right now, I have 6 cds and a book in there. Don't think I'll make any purchases just yet, though.

I have to go to my apartment tonight. Ugh. E is being such a heifer.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

How so?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Okay. Plan B -dameetray.

Al - any other info from pam?

Do you think I should write him again?

Give up?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Last week when C and I had dinner with her and Dave, I told her that I wouldn't be doing much moving until the end of February as I couldn't lift anything heavy. She was all, "Oh, well, Dave and I will move ANYTHING you need us to, just tell us when." But she said it in a way taht was all, "get the hell out of here." However, she emailed me today to make sure that I would leave her my coffee table, end table, my kitchen chairs, etc., "until they had a chance to buy some of their own."

Whatever. It's sort of pitiful, but I doubt I'll hang out with her after I move out for good. My room is filthy, too - her mom was in town this past weekend, and her friend was in town the weekend before that (and I doubt she changed the sheets - EW.) - and they've been staying in there. And as if she would clean up after them.

I can't stop sneezing.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Alright, y'all, what's your Jazz Fest weekend?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

What are they, again? MOC has to take his comps April 28. Isn't that the first weekend? We could come the next, but isn't that when Mike doesn't want to come?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

The first weekend is a little better for me, but the acts are better the second weekend and that seems to be when everyone else wants to go. So that's cool. Maybe I can finagle an early birthday celebration or something.

We need to figure it out soon, though, or we'll be staying in tents and asking Teri's dad to borrow a spatula.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Oh, and I did spend it on Padding ... and not only that, I started a page! **hugs** for me!

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

And he'll be like "Get away from Chicken, you hippies!"

Whatever works for you guys. If it has to be that first weekend, I'll just ditch C and come without him (and we will hear his crying and lamenting all the way to NO.)

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

I'm down for the 2nd weekend.

Dreamweaver is $300!!! I think I'll just stick to Frontpage, even if it's not as good.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

All right, let's make it the second weekend then. It's on!

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

I vote second weekend as well. Whole Chao Famiry will be there, too!

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Even mad Mad?

Al - can we host SPC on your friends site?

Let's do that soon! Portal!

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Yay! Second weekend!

Y'all, if some hippie tries to make a meal of Chicken L., I will throw down.

AB, I know that y'all have family/friends in NO, Joh, I know where you're staying - I don't know what the room situation looks like at the Lippincott house, but I do know that shacking up is off limits, so if Al and the MOC want to sleep in the same bed, my house might not be the very best place to stay. Mike, all the boys usually stay en masse on the third floor.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Maybe Mad Mad. We'll see. She'll be in NoLA, though, to make an appearance for MATH. I'm actually thinking of booking her on one of the side stages. Her backup singers are called the Mad Madettes.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Yeah, maybe the portal and the new domain will get me off my rear end to design some sort of a front page for my journal.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Al and MOC can stay in clazy AB Family house! I'll have to call and tell the fam we're coming.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

If we had a portal, does that mean that I would have to quit being a lazy-ass with diaryland and actually build a site?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Of course, there's plenty of food for everyone at the 711.

(that's the address. I wouldn't send y'all to a convenience store.)

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

"Mike, all the boys usually stay en masse on the third floor. "

Do we talk about the girls behind their backs? That would be so cool!

Seriously, that would be incrediblly nice of you.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

I'm in. And yes, I know where I'm staying.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

"I don't know what the room situation looks like at the Lippincott house, but I do know that shacking up is off limits, so if Al and the MOC want to sleep in the same bed, my house might not be the very best place to stay."

Now T, I know I'm a whoo-er, but I can take a night or two off, yo! Damn! You know I was raised right! JoAnn wouldn't allow a shack-up if we were engaged and had been living together for years.

Hee. The Lippincott House would be great, or the House of AB, whatever. Hell, we should just stay in some nasty-ass Motel 6 in Metarie and break into the mini-bar and y'all can come over and we'll have a big time.

Hey, if there's one thing we learned in Vegas, it's that we can have a big ol' time anywhere from a luxury hotel to a Chinese restaraunt with the nastiest men's room ever.

Was pam's entry supposed to be funny?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

I don't think so.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Mike - where did you register bermanation.com?

T - no, you keep diaryland! If that works for you, that's koo'.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

your-site.com.

Seriously, though, I'm checking every day to see if the weasels who swiped bermanator and thebermanator but have done nothing with them let the addresses lapse back into the public domain.

I'll also throw down if one if y'all stays in Metairie. If someone does want a hotel, I have a hook-up.

How did it get to be 5:30?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

I wanted hannahgirl so bad.

I'm going to do your-site too! Is that where you're going to host as well?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

I'm going home. Check in latah.

Yeah, no one's stayin in Meterie.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Yeah, that's where I'm hosting as well. I don't know enough about the process to really shop around.

The one thing I've discovered is that since I bought the name, I can't stop singing "Keep Feeling Fascination", with "Bermanation" substitued in the appropriate places.

I am heading home, y'all.

I am looking forward to Bermanation and SPC. Ooh - in keeping with Allison and Hannah's entry pages and the whole sock puppet theme, maybe we could put pictures of us when we were little next to the link to our journals.

Unless that's all hokey.

I'll see if I can't dig one up (and then I'll have to ask our graphics guy how to use the scanner).

You'll be happy to know that leigha will take her future husband's last name.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

You'll be happy to know I updated. I've figured something out. I'm not funny. At all. And I may also be a bad writer. I can't write in this stupid journal. For some reason, I can sit down and tell 3000 stories in person or via e-mail, but I can't MAKE myslef write something good.

Bah.

Y'all, did my little evil-kid picture inspire you that much? Well, what better to illustrate the SPCs' inner children?

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Oh, Allison. Your momma may hate your daddy, but she definitely raised a daughter who can write.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Well, yours raised a nice guy, I'll tell you that for free.

Mayn, it's just hard. I guess the frequency is what's going to get me. Seems like I can only write everyday for work about diseases and disorders and stuff, and when I'm done with that, I don't have much left.

I hate to leave y'all, but I really must say, goodnight, sweethearts, goodnight. Y'all give me some **hugs** for the Quarterly Ordeal tomorrow. I'll be back in the office around 3, my time.

I love you jags. I'll check back in latah.

-- Anonymous, February 05, 2001

Yeah, and nice guys finish ...

Actually, I'm oot as well. And I'm off tomorrow, but I'll be in writing my column and ... wait for it ... working out. After my annual resolution to hit the gym more, this will be my third time at HealthWorks in 2001.

And if the your-site jags will set me up, I'll be starting the whole moving-over-the-files process.

But of course, I won't be checking in later. Someday, I'll actually get a home computer.
