Discussion Test

I want to test an alternative discussion section for A.M.E. Today and I figured what place to look for help than in the most active discussion area here on the web site.

What I am asking is if some of you, if you could, would start at discussion in this alternative area so I can determine its functionality as well as possible flaws.

Whatever topic you choose will be fine and the heavier the posting the better.

I eventually see this new area as being a good place to host such interactive exchanges as online Bible studies and other pieces that require an easy to place web interface and interaction.

So give it a good work out. Use it, abuse it. See what works better than here, what things you have here that you would like there.

You comments, combined with my tracking of it, will let me know if this will be opened to the public. Right now you only will be able to get to it through the link I provide here.

I thank you in advance for your help, and hope while helping, you enjoy a new online experience.

I like the new area, Rev. Fisher. Perhaps you can post on the top of four or five of the ongoing discussions on the regular board that you would like us to try the new page, and that participants may also continue ther discussion on the new page. I also posted a question about Jesse Jackson and the IRS. Thank your being the Pastor to all of us!

Click on "new discussion area" it is underlined to get to the new page Rev. Fisher wants us to try out. Once you get there click on "Pick a Topic" there are two topics on the board now. If you have trouble figuring out how to use the new page.Come back and post what your problem is and I am sure Rev. Fisher will get back to you. Let us help him test out these new options. thanks everyone.

Well Pastor Fisher, first I would like to say thank you for allowing this Apostolic/AME Zion Minister to sneak on here and fellowship with y'all. I think what you are presenting is a great idea. Since some may call me a "firebird" instead of a "gospeldove" with the comments I say on here. I need more of a challenge, LOLOLOL Yes, bring on the hot firey topics, the ones that we are TOO afraid to discuss in our churches. I can drop a few suggestions for you. And WHAT ABOUT A CHAT ROOM?? The chatrooms, that are here, nobody's in there and so cheesy?? With COGIC chatrooms, you have to pay a membership fee to get in there and AME Zion's are too cheat to get one, they dont have a message board, the Apostolics they are too prejudice towards women preachers, Baptists.....not going to go there. Pastor Fisher, do what you gotta do!!

Rev. Fisher I've recently become very active in the A.M.E. church. I've really respect my pastor and he's given me alot of literature. By my studies, the older members has a problem with the A.M.E.doctrine but claim to be servants of the Lord and HARD CORE AME'S. I would like to know how to inlighten a congregation that tearing a younger generation belief down. As your know being AME, Pastor's come and go, but being a member I would have to stay and endure the negative vibes of the congregation. I've would like advise on handling a situation of such...
