Pahars move in the summer?

Straws at clutching....you know the drill. ;-)

Just perusing the Journal and they mention that we may have our eye on Pahars. Yeah, I know they're probably just making it up but I WANT PAHARS IN A BLACK AND WHITE SHIRT NEXT SEASON.

Also funny comments from Bobby talking about bringing Shola back down to earth as to his place in the team. Said he told shola that if we still had any of Maric, Robinson, Ferguson, etc, Shola would be playing in front of "one man and his dog"(Riverside Clive?!). Ouch.

Also heartening is Bobby saying there's no way Shearer will play before Man City, no matter what Al says.

Seems to be a bit harsh on Ameobi. Wonder if he's trying to motivate him into going out tommorow and proving the gaffa wrong. He's going to be needed for atleast the next two games, especiially as it looks as though Dyer hasn't recovered from his injury.

As for Pahars, I'll tell you what I think of him after tomorrows game.

Hi Ciara,

Thanks for the mail! I agree I would like to see Pahars in b&w, I don't know if it's just me but I'd love to see Kachloul also in b&w, he always looks good on the left, passes well and can score goals.

How long do we have to wait for a decent left-sided player?

Howay the lads

If he's saying that to Ameobi, then he mustn't really think much of Lua Lua and Cordone who are behind him in the pecking order.

Pahars - good player, but would he fit in the team? Dunno, wait till the Southampton match happens.

Nige, Kachoul having problems at the Dell, rumour is he/agent wants 28.000 grand, reality is Southampton will double his present up to 10.000 grand, the hole has been dug and the usual "I was misinterpreted cry rings out"

"Pahars - good player, but would he fit in the team?

He would if YKD were sold for in excess of £20 million - think about it.
