Meaning Behind "The Raven" : LUSENET : The Work of Edgar Allan Poe : One Thread

I love "The Raven" and read it constantly out of enjoyment but also to try to grab the full meaning. Like others I'm sure, I've consulted the dictionary on some of the words and have come up with my own interpretation. Could someone tell me, in a nutshell, what the whole thing represents?
