Tell you what - even with 9 men they give the mighty red machine one hell of a game. Almost a good as we did, but not quite.
Hutchinson played really well - still think he would have done a good job for us. I can't help but detest seeing true Geordies wearing that horrible garb - find it very diffuclt to understand how , even as professionals, they can bring themselves to do it!

Alan green and Beardsley were quite good.

Green thought Poll lost the plot, and that HE saw red mist, and was a disgrace to refereeing. Beardsley thought a number of decisions were poor. If anything they 1. anti-ref 2. anti-Man U 3. anti players who deserve to get sent off
