"Orienteering North America" makes a HUGE mistakegreenspun.com : LUSENET : orienteer kansas : One Thread |
The February 2001 Orienteering North America arrived today and I was shocked. They really dropped the ball. On page 11, they've got a report of the Possum Trot by Mark Everett of...H...V...O...What? HVO? Hudson Valley Orienteering?
How could they make such a mistake?

... and how could they get hold of such a report without Mook's permission?
-- Mook (everett@psi.edu), February 01, 2001.
Mook, of the Homeland Victorious Orienteers?

Actually, this was only the smaller of TWO huge mistakes, and I have already sent the editor a letter pointing out the really, really big mistake--which surely the rest of you sharp eyed hawks spotted along with me.

Well, I'll look for it... when my O/NA finally arrives...

Well, Mikell, we've looked but can't find it. What is the other mistake in ONA?
