I cannot get my Toshiba SD-2109 to recognize my own recorded vcd's. If anyone has the steps to get this to work please help me out. I had a friend that made his own sometime last year and they played fine on my machine. But he passed away 2months ago, so I can't find out how he did this. I have found a few different brand CD-RW's that work in my player, but only when recorded with music.

Use Memorex Platinum CD-RW. I have a toshiba player too and experienced the same problems.

Memorex Platinum CD-RW always work.

Did you ever get your Toshiba to recognise your VCD's, cos I want to save my Divx films on to CD-r to play on my DVD?
