The Sunderland / Man U game is being screened to £140 million viewers all over the world tonight , everywhere but in England.

BTW, who do we want to win?

-- Anonymous, January 31, 2001

Manc's for me
I F'in hate the Mackems

-- Anonymous, January 31, 2001

I support two teams:

Newcastle United and the team playing S*******d.

i think that says it all. ; - )

It's a difficult one, but a Man U win would be a better result for Newcastle. Indeed the more goals Moanchester score the better.

-- Anonymous, January 31, 2001

The position should be that we are challenging for the title and any defeat for Manu, even at the hands of Sunderland would be fine by me. Obviously we can catch the Mackems and not, realistically, Manu so it's clear that a Manu win is best for us.

Hate to concede the title already however I do hope the mancs crush 'em thus initiatin a free fall of results which sees Sunlung avoid relegation on goal diff. Just so we can tonk the twats next year, vengence is mine.

Whilst the rest of the world feast their eyes on the total anihalation of the maKems, who's on Sky Sports tonight, and....IS MOTD on?

-- Anonymous, January 31, 2001

who's on Sky Sports tonight,

Celtic v St Johnstone(sp?) as pay per view.....top hole stuff eh....and yes MOTD is on 10.35 - Midnight.

Sky Sports will have Jeff Stelling patrolling the usual arrangement of babbling gibbons spouting on about how good Newton Heath are, surely it's only a matter of time before Monekey Heed himself gets on the panel and shows them all how to peel bananas with their feet, properly.

So , It's a non telly night then, just have to listen to metro FM while getting Stoke city out of the second division on cm2000

-- Anonymous, January 31, 2001

I took the easy option of Peterborough and I am sitting nicely at the top of the Division!

Unfortunately I cannot listen to the webcast whilst playing CM! Webcast it is then!

De Biulder, the problem with lower leagues is that your team hasn't a very high desirability rating. I am sorely tempted to use a saved game editor and wack up my desirability rating to 9999.

-- Anonymous, January 31, 2001

I've still managed to pick up some really good players from the lower leagues including non-league. Colin Murdock from Man U is an example, he was listed for loan which is what I was looking for, then I had one look at his stats and bought him for under 50k, he's been outstanding.

A bit late now but if you restart include the non-leagues when you pick the league, if nothing else you should be able to get rid of players to lower league clubs!

I haven't been able to sign any of the usual suspects i.e. Sigporrson, Barikliogu, Zahovic, Touma although they are all within my price range.

'kinell. Why is that every bliddy thread, if it lasts long enough, gets round to either Championship Feckin' Manager or My team's got better support than yours? Is this what the world's coming to??

-- Anonymous, January 31, 2001

Well my team IS better than yours so...nyah! :-P

-- Anonymous, January 31, 2001

All encompassing answer coming up.

I'm disappointed with Peterborough's attendances only 9,000 in a 15,000 capacity stadium despite being top of the league! Therefore my average crowd is probably considerably less than yours, so stick that in your fecking pipe!

Apologies Screacher!

Are Peterbourgh in the 2nd division? In my little world Wigan , Milwall and Reading are the big fish.

I've managed to get an Ipswitch defender in for half a million and got Gary Brady in on a loan. He's dead good in the second Division.

Gonna try for stern John tonight, supposed to become shit hot.

Rik,

New thread started as I can understand that some people may not have the slightest clue what you are talking about. Mmmmm!!

How many attendees do you get at these lower division games? Do you have to provide cyber-pies at half time?
