Non-Toon I know, but word that Celtic's Alan Stubbs has beaten testicular cancer for the 2nd time is wonderful news:

Celtic defender Alan Stubbs has been given the green light to resume playing again after his successful fight against cancer.

Stubbs suffered a relapse of the testicular cancer that he thought he'd eradicated two years ago. The former Bolton star has been undergoing chemotherapy for the last four months but now doctors have finally given him the all-clear. A Celtic statement released today read: "Following consultation with the specialist this morning, Alan Stubbs has been given the all-clear from the cancer which he suffered from, and will not require further surgery or chemotherapy. Alan is now recovering from his recent surgery and will continue his rehabilitation under the care of Celtic's medical team."

Great news, I know I'm not the only one whose kept my fingers crossed for the big-nosed Scouser. Hope it won't be long before he's back playing.

I was going to say that you can only get it twice but realised that that would be a bit tasteless and so resisted the urge...oh bollocks.

I can't think of anything worse for a man to get. BTW , Do they have to cut your balls off to cure it?
