Forget land tanks... Have a Battle of the Ironclads. Base the battle off of the idea of the first armored ship battle during the American Civil WAr, the Monitor vs. the Merrimack. Have the teams launch heavy duty water balloons filled with paint [or pumpkins, whichever works] at the other team's armored boat. The boat must be manned by at least 2 team members-- one pilot, one gunner. Or, if the team wants, one pilot, 3 gunners if they can pull it off...
